Saturday, Day 1
Depart on our direct Delta Airlines flight from New York to Milan.
Sunday, Day 2
Upon arrival at the Milan airport, we transfer to our hotel. The balance of the afternoon is at leisure. Tonight, enjoy a group welcome dinner. (D)
Monday, Day 3
The shopping begins! Today we journey to the Fox Town outlet mall, just over the Swiss/Italian border. With over 40 stores, Fox Town is a European rarity: an American-style outlet mall. The many brands represented here include Armani, Bally, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Etro, La Perla, Ferragamo, Hanro, Hugo Boss, Frette, Petite Bateau, Malo, Cerruti, Les Copains, Esprit, Missoni, Miss Sixty, Iceberg, GFF, Trussardi, Superga and Versace. En route, we stop in the charming lakeside town of Como, once the center of the medieval silk industry, to visit a silk factory and outlet shop that manufactures fabric for many high-end designers. Tuesday, Day 4
This morning, we travel by coach from Milan to the Tuscan countryside, home to olive groves, vineyards... and Italy's top designer outlets! We'll be visiting the Dolce & Gabbana outlet, as well as The Mall, featuring Gucci, Fendi, Giorgio Armani, Yves Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Tods/Hogan, Marni, La Perla, Valentino, Emanuel Ungaro, Ermenegildo Zegna, Salvatore Ferragamo, Loro Piana, Diesel, Miss Sixty, Sergio Rossi, Agnona, Burberry, Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Stella McCartney, Emilio Pucci, Yohji Yamamoto and Unoaerre, featuring a wide selection of Italian gold jewelry. Wednesday, Day 5
We begin our day at the Prada outlet, where you'll find a wide array of merchandise from Prada and Miu Miu. We take a break from shopping at Castello di Verrazzano, in the heart of the Chianti region, where we'll enjoy a wine tasting accompanied by a sumptuous lunch featuring local Tuscan specialties. This afternoon, we'll tour a leather factory that manufacturers products for many famous designers. (B, L)
Thursday, Day 6
Your morning is free for leisure, to enjoy some independent sightseeing, shopping, or simply sleep late. After lunch, we depart Florence and travel to Rome, with free time upon arrival. (B)
Friday, Day 7
Our last day in Italy is at your leisure, to shop, relax or sightsee independently. We'll gather together tonight for our farewell dinner. (B, D)
Saturday, Day 8
Depart on our direct Delta Airlines flight from Rome to New York. (B)
